The Hashbeats: Issue #7

Need your weekly dose of Hashflow? Here's a quick recap of progress on our product, growth initiatives, and all the latest news across our ecosystem 👇

TL;DR

Product Upgrades & Technical Progress

Last week was a bit slower due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the US. The eng team took this opportunity to focus on optimizing the product and enhancing internal processes:

  • ✅ Further scaled the service to support larger volumes
  • ✅ Streamlined interaction with select market makers
  • ✅ Strengthened our internal infrastructure to address bugs faster
  • ✅ Fixed minor bugs on the new metrics dashboard

The Stats

As long as we’re talking about metrics, last week has been a snowy one. Overall volume jumped to over $252M, with Avalanche leaping and rocking up to $67M!

Volume on Avalanche has been going up faster than ski lifts over the last two weeks, and its daily volume has been in nearly 1:1 ratio with Ethereum mainnet throughout. Special shout-out to the Red Gang for all their support - we’re excited to be part of the AVAX DeFi ecosystem!

Hashflow Governance Updates

Since the commencement of governance, we’ve received over 16 pre-proposals on the forums, and the first formal proposal on Snapshot was submitted last week!

So far, 5 formal proposals have been voted on, and 2 of them have been passed already. Make sure to cast your ballet on the latest proposals that are still open:

And here’re the pre-proposals still in their comment period:

Thanks to everyone who have submitted their thoughts & votes, and helped advance the proposals to the next stage. We absolutely love the participation — keep them coming!

Community Highlights

Now that Hashflow Governance is in full force, we wanted to continue featuring the notable members in the Hashgang at the end of each week. Last week, the spotlight was on SASH from Japan - one of the long-time Hashgang OGs!

That’s a wrap for now. We have more exciting new features, product announcements, and Hashverse leaks coming soon — so make sure to follow Hashflow on Twitter or join the Hashgang on Discord to stay plugged-in.
